We all know that finding and fixing bugs is one of the most important activities associated with Software Testing. Defects identified by the testers are sent to the developers to be fixed. Although there bug tracking tools to manage bugs, it is very essential to provide a clear picture regarding the information and description of the bug to reproduce and fix it exactly.

The aim of the Bug Report is to let the developer understand that the defect is a failure in the system that needs to be corrected. The Bug Report gives detailed descriptions about the bugs, so that the programmers can reproduce it. In case the Bug Report does not accomplish this mission, there can be reports from the development team saying – not a bug, cannot reproduce, rejected and many other reasons. Hence, it is important that the BUG REPORT be prepared carefully by the testers. It should basically describe the famous “3 What’s?” well described as:

What we did:

Module, Page/Window – names that we navigate to
Test data entered
Selected test data
Buttons and the order of clicking

What we saw:

Error messages
Missing data
No Validations
Incorrect Navigation

What we expected to see:

Incorrect message – gives message regarding the incorrect data provided
Validations – give correct validations
Error messages – justify the conditions with error messages
Navigations – navigating to the actual page which is been expected

Why is Java more secure than other languages?

Java is considered more secure than other languages for several reasons:

The Java compiler catches more compile-time errors; other languages (like C++) will compile programs that produce unpredictable results.
Java does not allocate direct pointers to memory. This makes it impossible to accidentally reference memory that belongs to other programs or the kernel.

Java’s security model is focused on protecting users from programs downloaded from sources across a network. Java programs run in Java Runtime Environment. Java Programs can’t take any action outside those boundaries. For example, Programs are prohibited from many activities, including:
* Reading or writing to the local disk
* Making a network connection to any host, except the host from which the applet came
* Creating a new process
* Loading a new dynamic library and directly calling a native method

The beginning of PHP and PHP 3

PHP was created in 1995 by Rasmus Lerdorf and means Personal Home Page language. Ever since its beginning it has been one of the most intuitive programming languages used for the creation of dynamic web pages. Later, when the PHP team was formed, the parser was rewritten and PHP version 3.0 saw the light of day. The PHP 3 version was the first serious improvement of the PHP language, which fixed a lot of bugs and completely redesigned the PHP core.
